Terminal Cancer at 30 - Bucketlist Fund

Donation protected
At 29, I was diagnosed with a rare type of breast cancer on March 31st 2014 (<0.4% of cases) I hoped that my surgeon had screwed up April Fool's Day.

On the other side of treatment on October 10th (mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiotherapy) we finally enjoyed my 30th, then a fantastic Christmas with the family. My husband spoilt me by re-proposing - the question: "Will you stay married to me?" at sunset on boxing day, (on the jetty we were married) with an amazing ring as we never shared a formal proposal moment before eloping.

Little did we know I'd wind up in hospital with fluid on my lung less than two weeks into our new year.

A CT was done to check for any clots in addition to the fluid. There were none... but what was found was that the cancer had spread to my left lung (three masses) and a node in the middle of my chest (the biggest at around 8-9cm).

This spells bad news. Lung mets is not great. Best case average is a 22% chance of making it to 5yrs. I'm not really best case scenario, with original presentation being pretty poor, and the second being aggressive also.

I want to spend lots of amazing time with my wonderful supportive husband and two young children (currently 5yo girl and 15mo boy!) And also want to do my best to complete my bucketlist. It's short but it will cost a little being that it's mostly international travel with the hubby to see the world of culture out there I've never laid my eyes on... and if my lungs continue to do what they have so far (have been quite short of breath) I'm aiming for business class as it's easier to be laying down for longer periods, or a cruise for the longer distances so moving around is less restricitve.

I would love if you have a few dollars to contribute... I would be eternally grateful for that or if you could share the campaign. I aim to travel in November to see my Dad for thanksgiving, and some AMAZING friends I've made both in America and internationally. Also hoping to see some of Europe and wind down on an islands cruise on the way home!

There are a few other items like going hot air ballooning at sunrise and trying out skydiving, too... so this will help tick some of that exciting stuff off I hope. :)
