Kaamilah's Krew Krushes Lupus

HELP FIND A CURE! This will be the 4th NYC ALR Walk to Cure Lupus that KAAMILAH'S KREW will participate in, but this year we are on a mission to make our team BIGGER and BETTER...here's why:

1) In October 2011, Kaamilah (the team's namesake) lost her Aunt to lupus-related complications. Aunt Frances (pictured above to the far left) was the sweestest, kindest person you could ever meet. She left behind three sons (including a 13 year old), a companion, two sisters and a brother, two grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. If we don't raise money for research, we will just keep hearing this same tragic story over and over...DONATE today!

2) About 14 years ago Kaamilah was diagnosed with lupus. She was only a teenager, but she has fought her way through and is determined to just have lupus and not let lupus have her! This is a celebration of the life Kaamilah has lived and her continued advocacy for ALL of those with lupus.

3) Amina Gilyard, the youngest of Kaamilah's siblings, is once again taking on the role as Co-Captain of Kaamilah's Krew walk team. She WILL track you down, call you, email you, Facebook you, tweet you and maybe even visit you until you DONATE.
