Surgery bill for our kitty

Harry Potter has been part of our family for almost four years. We found him wandering around a parking lot, skinny and cold and covered in fleas. Once we brought him home and cleaned him up, we immediately realized that this kitty was something special.

Potter loves cuddles, tummy rubs, being close to his humans and pouncing on the dogs. He is the sweetest thing, and he needs our help.

Potter has chronic urinary problems that make it painful and difficult for him to go. We have been managing it with medication for several months, but he is starting to be incontinent and he's in a lot of pain.

The vet tells us that his best chance is to have a urethostomy, a surgical procedure that will widen his urethra and make it easier for him to go. It will relieve his pain and keep him from repeated inpatient visits at the vet. The repeated vet visits have cost us a lot of money, our savings have been wiped out and we cannot afford the surgery he needs.

When I adopt an animal, I make a commitment to that animal's health, no matter what comes. I love my kitty and I need to be able to help him - it's my responsibility. Please, help me help him.
