Dr. Juan Ramon Chalapoud Memorial

Dr. Juan Ramon Chalapoud was an INCAN (International Cancer Institute in Guatemala) trainee and  dynamic researcher on nasal t cell lymphoma.  Dr. Juan Ramon was dedicated to building capacity and strengthening the research arm at INCAN with his colleagues in Guatemala.  He died tragically while spending vacation with his family in Honduras recently.  He was a visionary, a change agent, a friendly spirit and passionate researcher who wanted only what was best for his family, his patients, his colleagues, his friends and his country.  Dr. Juan Ramon Chalapoud is survived by his wife Elsa, and his two sons Juan Andres (7) and Nicolas (4).  A memorial fund has been established to help his immediate family through this very difficult and tragic time.  We are extremely saddened by this news and extend our heartfelt condolences during this time.  May his memories continue to be an inspiration to all.
