Natural Gas Heat for Ballet Studio

Hello,
My name is Cynthia Bernshausen. In 2008 I opened the East Tennessee Ballet Academy and in need of a more permanent studio space I took on the adventure of renovating an old brick garage in the historic area of Elizabethton, TN. With high ceilings, open dance space, room to grow and a good location, this rental space met ETBA's long term needs. After installing new walls, electrical wiring, ceiling insullation, mirrors, sprung floors and a new coat of paint East Tennessee Ballet Academy opened its new home October of 2011. With small class sizes, individual attention and quality instruction with a focus on technique and artistry the school has a earned a solid reputation as a classical ballet academy in East Tennessee. In 2014 the East Tennessee Youth Ballet was established to offer more extensive training to our dedicated students. ETYB has performed free of charge to thousands of school children in the Tri-City and Mountain City area as well as presenting productions to the gereral public such as Nutcracker, Cinderella and Peter Pan.
The academy offers summer art programs such as 'The Art Walk' , performing opportunities for non-dance students and well as tuition assistance to those in need with a desire to explore the fine art of classicsal ballet.
To expand on these and offer more programs we need to be able to use the entire building. The space has two studios. As yet only the small studio has heat and air conditioning. We have tried various ways to heat the larger studio but thus far nothing has been effecient. Often the large studio is just too cold to use during the winter months. A natural gas modine 118,000 btu hanging heater with an electrical line from main box to the unit plus installation is $2413.
