Charlie Cat's Medical Fund
Donation protected
Hi. My name is Charlie Cat. I was recently adopted by the best humans ever - Connie and Robert Thomson. What Connie and Robert didn't know when they adopted me was that I have an undersized kidney and was suffering from a kidney infection as well. Because of the kidney problems, I was also dehydrated.
Four days after my humans took me home, I got sick (I found some bacon on the table that I wasn't supposed to eat, and it didn't agree with me). Luckily for me, that little episode allowed the veterinarian to diagnose the real issues I have.
I spent three days and two nights at the animal hospital, hooked up to an IV most of the time. By the third day I was much, much better, with the infection gone. But, I still have and always will have the undersized kidney. Because of that, I will need a very special diet for the rest of my life (no more bacon...) and possibly some medications as well.
My new human parents love me very much and want to take care of me, and the people at the shelter have agreed to help out with my medical costs, but Connie and Robert could still use a little help covering the rest of the bill, and socking some away for my special foods and medicine.
For everone that donates at least $5.00, you'll get a special digital photo of me, Charlie Cat! This photo will be just for you, and I won't let my human parents put it up on Facebook (but you certainly can if you want!).
For everyone that donates at least $25.00, you'll get the photo, plus my human Mommy will crochet you a hat, scarf, or dice bag (your choice!). She'll make it from whatever yarn she has on hand, and I'll make sure to inspect it before she ships it. You'll know I inspected it by the white hairs I leave on it for you.
For anyone that donates at least $100.00, you'll get the photo, plus my human Mommy will crochet you a small blanket. Like with the hat/scarf/dice bag, she'll make it from whatever yarn she has on hand, and I'll inspect it to make sure it is a quality item.
Thanks!
