Changing Lives 1 Buck at a Time

CWI is partnering with the Just-A-Buck Corporation to provide employment, internships, assessments and training opportunities for people with disabilities, opening a new not-for-profit retail dollar store here in Queensbury! The store will be located in the Queensbury Plaza on Glen Street. This will be a true retail venture with an exciting twist.

Embarking on this exciting opportunity, CWI will become only the 7th human services organization in the nation to operate a mission-driven dollar store. Like all other retailers, we will be relying on community support and patronage, as there is not state funding to assist us with the development of this venture.

For more than 50 years, through the provision of quality and innovative services, CWI has offered a myriad of services to meet the needs of people who are medically frail, developmentally disabled, brain injured, learning disabled, economically disadvantaged and who face other challenges.

CWI supports individuals striving to reach their potential to be productive and meaningful members of their community. The operation of our new store will further our mission and expose it to the region as they see that mission brought to life.
