Good Day & Thank You for visiting and taking the time to learn more about our fundraising campaign. Corporal Michael J. Crescenz is a native born Philadelphian and graduate of Cardinal Dougherty H.S.
What makes Cpl. Crescenz a special person? Michael is Philadelphia's ONLY Vietnam Veteran to have earned our nation's highest honor; the Congressional Medal of Honor.
The purpose of our campaign is to take it upon ourselves and recognize Corporal Crescenz in the form of an 8ft Bronze Statue of his likeness the day he sacrificed himself single handedly taking our numerous enemy machine gun bunkers, saving the lives of many of his fellow soldiers.
