ORIGINAL POST: During Hurricane Harvey, a member of Houston ISD's Dogan Elementary school family and dear friend, Margarita Tamez and her loving husband, Jorge Tamez, had to rescue their horses. Amid the rescue, a bed of ants floating in the water bit Jorge and he had a horrible allergic reaction. He has fallen into a coma, and to this day has been on breathing support. Jorge has been in the ICU over a week now. This has been devastating for all those who love him, and so difficult to comprehend. If you have the means, any donation is appreciated to help this beautiful couple for medical expenses. Prayers and well wishes are also welcome.
