Help me raise money for Top Surgery with Dr. Garramone.

I'm a 19 year old queer, Jewish trans man living in Sebastian, FL. I "came out" in 2011 and have happily been living full-time as male since. I started testosterone February of this year, thanks to my wonderful, supportive mother.

I moved out of her home in Florida about seven months ago  to pursue a career in music in New York. I worked at a pizza shop in a small town in Northeastern PA, where most of my employees had no idea that I'm trans, and just knew me as a cis-male which  took a toll on my own mental health. I quit when I had to return home due to monetary reasons and help my mother out in supporting her and my little sister, as my father is out of the picture.

For those of you who have come across this page and are unaware as to what top surgery is, or what it entails -- Top surgery is a double masectomy (removal of breasts) and chest contouring to emulate that of a cis-male's. There are many different procedures, which can be found on Dr. Garramone's website.

My father has clearly expressed his complete disinterest in helping fund this, as he believes it's a "phase".  He avoids using pronouns and even names around me -- instead using childish nicknames he hasn't used since I was five in order to avoid calling me anything. My mother would help if she could, but she's a single parent raising my younger sister, working a job an hour and a half away from home to keep them on their feet, and she's done so much for me in the past. 


I feel like not having this surgery is really holding me back. To get it all over with would be heaven sent.
