Kaiser's Recovery Fund

Donation protected
On Saturday, March 21st, our buddy John Kaiser was taking advantage of the late season spring conditions in Dollar's half pipe and, unfortunately, banged himself up pretty good. A sled ride to the bottom and a LifeFlight trip to Boise later, and it became clear that Kaiser had shattered his L1 vertebrae and required immediate surgery to prevent any further permanent physical damage.

On Sunday morning, Kaiser underwent a procedure to remove the shattered pieces of vertebrae, insert two metal supports and fuse five vertebrae. His lovely wife, Jamilynn, said that the operation went well yesterday but Kaiser will have six weeks of primary recovery and roughly six months of total recovery time.

As you can imagine, this has not been an inexpensive endeavor. With no LifeFlight coverage and a high insurance deductible, the medical expenses are going to add up quickly.

All we ask is for a small donation to help ease the burden on Jamilynn and Kaiser, to hopefully make these expenses less of a concern on his road to recovery.

If you have any questions at all about the donation effort, please don't hesitate to ask.

Thanks,

Kaiser's Friends
