SpokenVizions Youth Poetry Project (S.Y.P.P.) is designed and developed to inspire, empower and to allow young people, both male and female, from seventh grade through twelfth grade, to be expressive, critical thinkers, develop leadership skills and focus on becoming better individuals through the arts. This is a St. Louis, Missouri based program.
In order to make this program effective, we humbly ask for your donations. Your contributions will assist us in getting journals for each student, T-Shirts, books, wrist bands, funds to publish an anthology with the poetry of the participants, and to pay our guest speakers.
We are partnering up with the not-for-profit organization called Sistakeeper and the sessions will take place at The Creative Arts Building, located at 3617 Grandel Square, St. Louis, MO 63103.
