Help Jennifer Make a Difference!

Dear Friends,

My name is Jennifer Campbell.  I was born with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, a genetic condition affecting my connective tissue.  Although I was born lifeless, God had mercy on me and allowed me to live.  There have been many trials due to my connective tissue disorder, including a perforated colon.  I also have an issue with my feet, which requires me to indefinitely walk with a crutch and foot brace. Still, I never let this stop me from living life to the fullest!

Even with my physical limitations, I serve my community as a full-time public school teacher.  When I enrolled in college, my original goal was to be an educator.  I am currently in my twelfth year of teaching English at the middle school level in the state of Florida.

In 2004, I earned an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts from Florida Gateway College (formerly Lake City Community College) in Lake City, Fl.  I transferred to the University of Florida in Gainesville, where I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a minor in General Education in 2006.  I graduated magna cum laude from both of these higher education institutions.  I was honored to give the graduation address at Florida Gateway College.

Upon completion of my undergraduate degree, I immediately found employment as a full-time public school teacher. I furthered my education by simultaneously teaching full-time and completing a full-time course load through Nova Southeastern University.  I graduated summa cum laude with a 4.0 GPA in 2008 with a Master of Science in English Education.

I have worked hard to make a positive contribution to society rather than collect any kind of disability income from the government.  Unfortunately, my quest for knowledge and my desire to make a difference in the lives of my students has resulted in considerable student loan debt.  Although I faithfully make monthly payments, my principal balance remains high due to the high interest rates.  My current balance is still almost thirty-thousand dollars or approximately half of the original amount.

I hope to further my education by pursuing a doctoral degree. In fact, I have already been pre-approved for a doctorate program, but cannot begin due to lack of funds. I would also love to participate in charity and missionary activity on a more frequent basis than I have in the past.  I have helped direct three different outreaches to an orphanage in Central America to provide food, clothing, and medicine.  If the financial burden of my student loans was eased or eliminated, I would have the resources to pursue these unfulfilled dreams.

I truly appreciate your kind consideration.  All donations will go directly to my student loan lenders.  If you would like to donate any amount, small or large, please click on the Donate Now button.  Please feel free to share it via social media as well.

May God bless you!
