Hello My name is Sandra I am on a mission to help my grandaughter and daughter with a transportaion need. My grandaughter who is now 16yrs old who suffers from cerebal palsy has a tracheostomy, gtube, and a doctor for every part of the human body.
Could you imagine not being able to get to the doctors in an easy and safe manner?
This is what my daughter and grandaughter have been suffering with for the past couple of years. We have had a van in the past, but with unforseen funds the van was not a handicap accessable vehicle which makes it a dangerous commute for Jasia . Not being able to afford a car payment her van had to be repossessed within the past month this has put damper on being able to keep up with Jasia's care and well being.
My grandaughter lives about 30min away from our Children's Hospital in the city and her mother would now need a ride or borrow someone elses vehicle to get there, which is what she has been doing for the past 2 months. Now that she has been in the hospital with the flu since 1/24/2015 this has made it very difficult for mom and her other children to see her.
We are reaching out to you our friends and family with this great need please find it in your heart to give even if its just $1 every little bit will help Jasia be able to get around safely.
