Jacob's Wishes

Jacob Monday is a kind, caring, incredible young man, who is currently a sophomore in high school. For the past 17 months, he has been undergoing treatment for a rare form of bone cancer called osteosarcoma. They believed the treatment had worked; however, when he went to have his port removed, tests showed that his cancer had spread to his lungs and other cells. Faced with a distressing prognosis, Jacob has made the decision to discontinue treatment. He wants to be able to enjoy his life to the fullest in the time that he has remaining.
We are raising funds to help fulfill Jacob’s wishes - we want to help provide him with as many experiences as we possibly can.
Jacob’s mom, Barbara, is a single mom who would love to be able to spend as much time with him, and his brother Lee, in the next year. They would like to go camping, go on small trips, go in a space simulator, etc.
Jacob and his family will be headed to Orlando in May with the Make A Wish Foundation. In the next few weeks, Make A Wish stars will be for sale in many of our schools.
