Jacks fund! A four year olds fight!

Donation protected

So Jack is a perfectly normal four year old little boy who enjoys playing in the dirt at the farm with his friends. We had a camping adventure planned a few weeks back but at the last minute Katie said she was taking Jack to the doctors as his legs were aching and he had started limping they referred him to the hospital to check for possible arthritis, while having tests his tummy became distended and painful. Jack had to stay in for more tests and then every parents worst nightmare the doctors found a growth in his abdomen! A few weeks later he is in the Royal Marsden beginning on the fight of his life! He has a aggressive tumour (neuroblastoma) in his tummy and after further tests this is stage 4 as his bone marrow is also affected. This is truly dreadful as he should be trying on uniform ready to start school but instead a massive battle ahead of him with regular blood transfusions and chemotherapy every ten days to try and shrink the fast growing tumour. Jack is the real hero having to take on this huge battle at such a young age but aside from his doctors and nurses, friends and family there are three rowers from Bexhill who have kindly offered to dedicate their cycle from John O'Groats to Landsend 956 miles to raising money for a treat for Jack! We would love to raise some money so that Jack has something to look forward to on the many dark days ahead, maybe a trip to Disney with his mum Katie dad Grant and brother Thomas who are all worried sick about him. So let's get behind them Dan, Greg and Will are beginning their bike ride on the 5th September the week that Jack should be starting school! Please help if you can in any way even if that is just sharing this far and wide to support the boys and raise as much money for Jacks treat as possible. We have also decided that 10% of whatever we manage to raise will be split between Clic Sargent (childrens with cancer charity) and the children's area of the Royal Marsden and St George's Hospitals. Thank you so much Xx
