Send Jason to Japan!

Donation protected
Hi there! こんにちは!(Konnichiwa!)

Thank you for reading about my campaign to raise money for my Japan Tour!

Going to Japan takes a considerable amount of money. Getting a paying gig and a visa to work in Japan as a performer is quite difficult, as well. As you know, I am an independent artist. I make all of my money from the music and acting I do. That is not really a lot of money sometimes, but it's what I'm passionate about. I decided that asking people to contribute would be the best way for me to get the funds I need for my concert tour of Japan. If you believe I should perform in Japan, please help my making a donation.

I thank you very much for helping me with this!

As you probably know, I have been wanting to perform in Japan for years. I've studied Japanese for years, and I have fans in Japan who saw me on the X-Factor who want to see me perform. In case you don't remember me on the X-Factor - or want a refresher - here's my first performance:

It's important for my career growth and personal growth that I work in Japan. Did you know Japan has the second largest music industry in the WORLD (second only to the US). In order to work in this market, I want to spend a month in the country to make personal connections and get exposure.

While in Japan I will:

Perform

I will perform in some major cities in Japan: Osaka, Tokyo, Kobe & Kyoto. I'll use these performances to share my art, meet my fans and thank them for their support. I'll also be building a new audience.

Research

I need to learn how live performers make a living in Japan (mainly Tokyo). I'll do this by going to live performance venues and meeting with the managers, owners and performers and doing the performances I have planned myself.

Make Connections

Like I said earlier, I need to make face to face connections with people in the industry and with my fans. This will make it much more likely for me to do more shows in Japan in the future.

Sincerely,
ありがとうございます!またね!(Thank you very much! See you!)
