Send the Bush Family Home

Hi everyone, first of all I want to say thank you for checking this page out. My family deeply appreciates anyone who is either able to donate or at least share our campaign. My little family consists of me, my husband, and our four children. My husband and I are both disabled veterans. I have a steel cage in my back and my husband has no cartilage in either knee, back problems, as well as TBI, and PTSD. Unfortunately his TBI and PTSD have damaged his short and long term memory. Now at 25 years old he is on daily medications with limited mobility and unfortunately his memory issues are getting worse.

Just recently he was struck by a silver car on Buckner while on his motorcycle and the person did not even stop to see if he was ok. We were extrememly lucky that the car did not kill him, and several people helped him.

To make things harder our middle son has been diagnosed with Aspergers. This condition is on the same plane as Austism. That leaves me as the primary caregiver for both. To be honest it has really taken a toll on me to the point of making my medical issues worse.

We currently live in Texas but our family is in Oregon. Our children end this school year in June and that is when we would like to move.  We need to be with family. Unfortunately with limited income, I am reaching out to the community for any support that anyone is able to give. It is going to cost roughly about $3,000 just for the Uhaul, and that is not including gas for both the Uhaul and our van. It is a super long drive so unfortunately it can not be completed in one day. In addition to that we also have to find a single story house as my husband is challenged with stairs.
