Firehouse Recovery

On December 15, 2014 around 10:30pm an active fire was discovered in the interior of our firehouse. Crews from surrounding jurisdictions quickly responded and placed the fire under control. There was extensive damage to the firehouse's lounge due to the fire. As a result of the fire, there was significant smoke and water damage to the remainder of the building. Thankfully, no personnel were hurt and all fire apparatus were unharmed.
This incident is a traumatic and unexpected loss to the town, but specifically to all fire personnel who volunteer at this station. Thank you to all fire responders that assisted with this incident. Most damages are covered by insurance companies but we still need help with funding. This is why we are asking for your help.
