Douglas Nolan, The Street Dog

This is a photo of an abandoned dog found today (Dec 16) on Nolan Street by a caring lady from Dallas who was on business in San Antonio. This dog had apparently been at this location, like this, for several days, with many people passing by, but NO ONE CARED. Doesn't speak well for San Antonio. Fortunately the sweet lady made sure this dog was taken to safety. He is very sweet and loving despite his mis-treatment and is now in the care of San Antonio's Pause for Paws Street Dog Rescue.  He is at Castle West Animal Hospital and is in critical condition due to starvation.  He has several health issues including scaroptic mange, however, needs to be eating before any other treatment can begin.  Please donate to this fund (no amount too small) or directly to the vet at Castle West Animal Hospital, 11105 West Avenue, San Antonio, Tx 78213 under the account Pause for Paws.  Any funds raised that are not needed for Douglas Nolan will be used to help other helpless dogs we take in from the street.  We appreciate your support!
