In Memory of Maria

It is with a heavy heart that I inform you that Maria my wife has graduated to heaven this afternoon, December 19, 2014. We thank you all so, so, so much for all of your help and support through these difficult years. It meant the world to Maria and to all of the family and friends to observe such acts of kindness, either through visits, words of encouragement, donations, prayers, and more.

 At this point, the funeral arrangements are being planned, and we will let everyone know of the details as soon as they are finalized. We are planning to use the funds that would have otherwise gone to the new treatment plans towards covering funeral expenses.  We are setting a goal of $25,000, which would cover basic expenses (e.g. transfer her body). Any remaining funds, if any, will be used towards setting up a foundation in Maria’s name honoring her strength, courage and passion for life.
