I am swallowing my pride and asking for help...My father was an amazing man, and a even better father. Serving 20 year in the Air Force, followed by a even better time as a History teacher for Phoenix Union High Schools.
6 months ago he suffered 7 aneurysms and made great strides for his recovery. Then last week he feel into a unresponsive state and it was discovered that his liver and kidneys had completely shutdown. The Doctors told us 3-4 days, he was only abl;e to hang on for 1 day.
Today, we went to the Funeral Home to take care of his services and burial. Once there we found out that his policy for covering his services and burial were being contested by the carrier due to his condition prior to death. Now we have been hit with a $6400 bill before anyone will do anything. It's one week before Christmas and the last 6 months have drained our savings and other funds available. And for this reason, I need any help I can get.
