Wishing For Washington

Hi, my name is Areanna, an 8th grade student at a Chicago Public School. Our school is trying to raise enough funds to send its top academically performing students to Washington, D.C. I am one of 47 students chosen to be an ambassador representing the class of 2015.  This is a once in a life time opportunity, as most of my classmates are first generation Americans. The chance to explore our nations capital would give us first-hand insight into the very foundation of our country. 
In order for this trip to become a reality, each student will need to raise $1,000. Any help in achieving this goal will set us on the course to experiencing this amazing journey.
