Need help to save my home

Donation protected

It is with GREAT *JOY*, I\'m here to tell you that YOU/WE DID IT! My home is SAVED! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I am so VERY grateful for the amazing outpouring of support and love from my friends and family. Those of you who donated through this crowdfund and those who participated in the funding pact peripheral to this, literally saved my life and have opened the doors of opportunities.

I will be emailing you each today and apologize for my tardiness but as soon as I ascertained my home was saved, I had to jump in a car for a ride to Pueblo as I was a delegate to the CD3, HD26, and State Democratic Conventions. While I felt guilty for leaving before I expressed my gratitude, I am so glad I went as many things came out of all I partook in and discussions I had, that will advance my work and also most likely, secure the job I\'ve been working towards.

On an aside, one of the things I learned from a fellow delegate/friend who is elderly and one hell of an activist, is that over 30 food pantries have SHUT DOWN in the Denver area since the beginning of the year, leaving seniors going without food! She lives on a modest income but is working tirelessly to make sure that fellow seniors get at least a slice of toast in a day. Can you imagine? Our seniors are living for/on a slice of toast? This is what I\'ve been seeing in my tours; that the demand is SO great and the resources, budgets and donations so thin, that closures are happening to food pantries, homeless shelters, mental health facilities, etc. that are the ONLY places the 50 million disenfranchised and impoverished have for the essential help and services they desperately need. People who\'ve worked hard their entire lives and donated to all kinds of organizations, are literally going to the back doors of those orgs, too embarrassed that they now need the services, food, etc. that they once supported. It is really sad to see the number of children in the schools, pantries and streets, that are hungry. With summer almost here, at least 19 million children won\'t know how they will eat each day, without their school lunch. We need all hands on deck! Which brings me to the fact that had you all not reached out and helped, I would be one more of the lost and voiceless. There are lots of resources and ideas re: how you can help, (if you have the means and/or inclination), in the blog I wrote about my touring experiences in Denver, during the holidays.

I could not have done this without the work, love and support of Sabra Van Dolsen, Pat Bingham, and Shauna Wille. Your belief in me combined with your generosity and compassion, have impacted me in positive ways that you can\'t imagine and that I find hard to articulate in words. Thank you for all you have done and are.

To the rest of my friends; your help with saving my home has given me re-birth and I appreciate your help so much. Your faces appear in my thoughts and appreciation and love fill my heart. You have given me the opportunity to do even better and more important work to help our nation and to uplift our masses by saving my Temenos. I am forever grateful to you and wish each of you and yours, many many blessings and again, Thank You.  ♥

Love & Peace,

Kim
