Diaz/Gonzalez Apartment Fire
Donation protected
News Report on Fire -On the evening of December 15th, 2014, an accidental fire started in an apartment building in Cambridge, MD, destroying the belongings of the 2 families that called the apartment home. As if the fire was not traumatic enough, after the blaze was safely put out by local firefighters, what was left in the home that was salvagable was stolen by looters. Both families have young children, and while the Red Cross has assisted in housing the families temporarily, we need your help and donations for clothing, basic necessities, and assitance to get them back on their feet so they can recover from this awful tragedy and start building fresh memories in a new home. Every little bit helps and is very appreciated. Let's help these wonderful families through this trying time, and help make sure their children still have a Merry Christmas. There is also a Facebook page where you can contact them directly to help with clothing/item donation. Thank you all so much, and Happy Holidays!
