Jaguars Rowing - IUPUI Crew

It has been an exciting Fall semester for Jaguars Rowing. Fall recruitment was a great success. We currently have 18 active members on our roster. All of our rowers represent the diversity, integrity, dedication, and academic talent of IUPUI students. This diligence has been very apparent at both practice and regattas. We have the wonderful opportunity of practicing 5 days a week at the Indianapolis Rowing Center [IRC] located in Eagle Creek Park under the direction of Coach Trevor and Coaches Stephen & Emmanuel of Butler University. The IRC has been very kind to provide us equipment and ergs to use at our disposal.

All of our hard work is in preparation for regattas. The IUPUI Crew has attended two regattas so far, and has seen success and significant growth as a team. We enjoy competing in regattas for the opportunity they give us to travel and challenge schools & clubs from all across the nation. Our last regatta of the season is Head of the South in Augusta, GA on the weekend of November 7-9. We Jags are looking forward to showing everyone what we’re made of!

As a newly established organization, we are currently struggling to make ends meet. Between IRC equipment fees, travel costs, registration fees and other expenses; simply collecting club dues has not been sufficient in funding our growing needs. Any contribution to Jaguars Rowing will greatly assist us with our growth and development as an organization. All gifts, big or small, are greatly appreciated!
