Student Loan Fund

I want to start this introduction off with a heartfelt note from me to you: I truly believe in working hard to achieve goals--and there is no dream too big. It is said that "Use your talents, set high goals, work hard, and you can achieve anything you set to do." This has been my life's motto. Born to immigrant, hard-working parents, I knew that my college and graduate degrees would come at a hefty price--mostly on my shoulders, and I was and still am 100% proud of being the first in my family to graduate from grad school--let alone, college. Throughout my undergraduate and graduate studies, I have always gone above and beyond to try and juggle not only my HEFTY school work--but many, many jobs, in order to make my ends meet. However, now that grad school is over, and the daunting reality of my school loans is upon me, I am starting to feel like this burden is absolutely suffocating me--I am $260,000 knee deep in student loans. Absolutely no credit card debt--this amount is PURELY student loans, with interest.

I live an extremely modest, humble, personal life, I work hard, live at home, don't eat out, don't spend money on anything but necessities-- yet my monthly income just doesn't seem to meet the high payment of my school loans. On top of that, I am trying to plan my wedding with my honey--while this should be the most beautiful time of my life, I am finding myself in constant tears, since my finances just can't make ends meet. I am struggling. I don't know what else to do at this point.

....Which is why I have turned to the hope of the generosity of others. Even creating this site, as I am writing this right now, is making me wonder whether or not this is a good idea. After all, I don't want to come off as someone who does not realize what a fortune-- a blessing-- it is to have an excellent education--since so many might not even have this opportunity to begin with. However, I am going to take a leap of faith and see if this can help at all.
