Support Sichuan Garden in Brookline

Donativo protegido
Hi, my name is James Spector. I like Chinese food. I also like the law (I'm an attorney admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey). What I don't like is reading about this situation in Brookline Village that has transpired between Ben Edelman, an associate professor at Harvard Business School (and lawyer), and Sichuan Garden. Here are the general facts from the Boston.com article by Hilary Sargent that I just read:

- Mr. Edelman discovered that he was overcharged by $4 when he placed a phone order for Chinese food from Sichuan Garden in Brookline Village when compared to the prices on the website.
- Mr. Edelman sent a string of emails to Sichuan Garden, corresponding with the proprietor Ran Duan.
- Ran Duan apologized for the discrepency on the website's menu, offered to refund the $4 and acknowledged that they will be updating the website to reflect the current pricing.
- Mr. Edelman demanded three times the refund ($12) pursuant to the Massachusetts Consumer Protection Statute and suggested he might take further legal action.

Let's support Mr. Duan and the Sichuan Garden in Brookline Village against Mr. Edelman's demands by raising the $4.

Best,
James Marshall Spector, Esq.
