Brandi's Hope Her road to recovery

Donation protected
My daughters name is Brandi Lanphere and this is Brandi’s Battle…

Brandi has been diagnosed with stage 4 Lung Adenocarcinoma.
Adenocarcinoma is a cancer that forms in the lining of the glandular organs like the lungs, breast, prostate ect. Being that it is stage 4 it is inoperable. Typically means it has metastasized and spread to other organs. It is also very stubborn against chemotherapy and radiation. Doctors are still unsure where the cancer originated from in Brandi or if there is more.
In Brandi’s case at this point we are still unsure if it is in any other organs. We do know that she had 3 large tumors on her brain. On November 21, 2014 one of the tumors was removed. Radiation is still needed for that area to make sure no tumor remains there. The other 2 still remain and need to be surgically removed.
The tumors have effected her vision, taste and smell. She sees lights in her eyes and her vision will never be fully repaired even after all the tumors are gone.
Brandi has started to loose her balance, stumble and even have seizures. After taking care of the tumors she will get very sick and weak. She will begin to loose her hair and her brain will be swollen for about 8 weeks. Then Brandi will be starting chemotherapy for the lung cancer after everything with her brain is more stable.
Brandi is more than just a cancer patient. She is a 42 year old daughter, mother, wife, sister, student and a dear friend to many. On top of those amazing things she managed to find the time to be a cheerleading coach and up until a few weeks ago also be the main financial provider for her family.
Brandi has 4 children Olyvia Christine, Logan James, London Janet and Samara Grace. She was a full time mother, worked full time and was a full time student with only 4 months left to graduate with her Bachelors in Human Resource Management. She volunteered her time by coaching Brocton/Portland midget cheerleading for the last 4 years.
Since that snowy day in November Brandi’s entire life has been flipped upside down. She has had to quit school. Quit coaching. Also had to quit her job which was the main source of income for her family. I have had to move in to help with my grandchildren so that way Brandi and James can focus on the extensive treatment and appointments that she now faces. They have to travel 2 hours from Jamestown to Roswell and then another 2 hours back multiple times a week.

I am asking if you may open your heart and fight this fight with my daughter by making a donation to her benefit..

Thank you
Sincerely,
Eve Lewis
