Moving with Dignity
Donation protected
Statistics show that on average, a child in foster care will move about 3 times during their first stay in care. Some kids, however, will move more than 10 times. Unfortunately most children in foster care do not have luggage or plastic storage bins to appropriately pack their belongings and instead watch as their things are packed into trash bags. What kind of message does this send to our children, our future? Their property, their belongings are not trash. Kids in foster care are not trash. They deserve better. If we do not treat our future with respect, kindness, and love then what type of future does our society have? Please help support me while I raise money for duffle bags and plastic storage bins for children in foster care who are involved in MapleStar Oregon and Proverbs Group Homes in Arizona.
