This powerful video was made by volunteers of Sparks of Hope that are survivors of abuse. They believe so strongly in what we are doing and the lives we are changing, for a few of them, this was the first time they went public about being a survivor.
Sparks of Hope is a nonprofit organization that provides services for children who are survivors of abuse. We do this with healing camps, mentoring, healing K9's, support groups and teen speaker's bureau.
Our programs are funded 100% by donations from good people like you. We are 100% volunteer run and there is never a cost for a child to use our services or attend camp. We are ready to take the next step and launch nationwide, but we need your help. Not a day goes by that we don't recieve a message or email from a survivor or parent begging us to start our programs in their state.
Now is the time to help us break the silence and the cycle of child abuse by funding our goal to bring Sparks of Hope nationally. The funds we raise will help establish our programs in other states with the goal to be nationwide to stop the epidemic of child abuse by empowering these children to thrive.
Lee Ann, our founder is a survivor of child abuse from the age of 4 to 16 years old. This is her dream and life's work that has been proven to change so many lives already. No child should have to walk alone in their healing journey and we want to be there with them. This can only be done with your support. We have had children who came to our camps that were so broken and afraid due to the abuse they endured, but now they are our most outspoken supporters and walk with courage and no fear. This is the amazing work our programs can do for these hurting children.
