Help "Uncle Donut"

Donation protected
On Tuesday, December 2, Larry (Uncle Donut to his nieces and nephews) was rearended on his way home from work, just a few blocks from home.   He was stopped behind another car and was hit by a truck going full speed.  The impact pushed him into the car in front of him and broke vertabrae in his neck and lower back.  He underwent surgery to repair the damage.  He has a long recovery ahead of him and is in much pain.  He will be unable to work for quite sometime and the loss of his income will be a struggle for the family.

The vehicle had an expired insurance card and the driver held a license from Mexico.  There will be little, if anything, that can be done to help the family financially and will be a lengthy process.   Of course, it is now the holiday season and they are faced with mounting medical expenses and an uncertain future.  I'm hoping that we can raise some money to help them as they work through the recovery so they don't have the added worries and stress over finances.

These are very sweet people that have worked hard and have always stood on their own two feet.  Larry would give someone the shirt off his back if they needed it, but now he needs help.  If you can help even a little bit I hope you will.

Thank you very much for taking the time to read this!
