HAVE A HEART!

Donation protected
As many of you know, I was abruptly diagnosed on 1/06/13 with Congestive Heart Failure and Cardiomyopathy (weak & enlarged heart) with an EF of 11% (the percentage of blood my heart pumps). Anyone who knows me was as shocked as I was to hear this, due to my healthy lifestyle choices and clean eating habits. With no significant symptoms, I had no clue what was happening inside of my body until a routine physical with an EKG revealed my conditions. From that day forward, my life has drastically changed as my journey through countless hospitalizations and surgeries began.

- I have since had an ICD (Pacemaker/Defibrillator) implanted to shock my heart and/or pace it into a normal rhythm if needed.

- I underwent corrective surgery for my extreme sleep apnea, which is believed to be what agrivated my condition to such a critical level. This surgery consisted of removing my tonsils, adenoids, soft pallet, shaving the back of my tongue, stretched my esophagus and relocating a bone in my neck.

- I began having major digestive and urinary track issues, due to heavy load of medications needed for my survival and had to have my gall bladder and appendix removed, twisted bowel corrected and an abscess with 1.7 liters of infection removed.

-1 week after being released from the hospital for my extensive abdominal surgery (gangrenous appendectomy, bowel abstraction and drainage of an abscess full of nearly 2L of infection), I was in an automotive collision and rushed back to the hospital with complications from the seatbelt locking up over my recent surgeries as well as neck trauma from the impact. I am now dealing with post-concussion issues and physical therapy for at least 4 months.

- Recent tests have shown my heart has weakened immensely and I am now back in congestive heart failure

- My private insurance company providing my long term disability benefits, determined I am no longer I'll enough to receive benefits and cut me off with no warning. I now have ZERO income and life savings meds and treatments to face without a solution.

My life is literally in the hands of fate, as a month or so without my life saving meds will surely take away the second chance I've been given at life. I am being as aggressive as possible to come up with income opportunities to combat the uncertainty of my private insurance disability income. While having their help has been a blessing, it is not guaranteed from month to month and has been pulled without warning several times since diagnosis.

Friends, if you know me well, you know I am an extremely proud and independent man, whom would never dream of asking for a cup of coffee, let alone help of this nature. I have, over time, provided love, support and laughter to many of you and I pray you can find it in your hearts to help me out in my time of need. I will forever be grateful for your charity and will always pay it forward!
