Kissed By A Butterfly

Having Lupus is something I struggle with everyday. I've suffered hair loss, at one time extreme weight loss, and my face has the butterfly rash that the best makeup can't seem to cover. Sometimes my headaches really get the best of me, but then I look at people who have it a lot worse, but keep pushing and it motivates me! It motivates me to do my part to help find a cure for this disease. There are people who wonder why I'm so positive in-spite of what I go through, well I've decided that I'm not going down without a fight and I will continue to let my life be a living testimony of what you can do when you are determined! My motivation is being a Blessing to others. If my life can positively touch the life of another, and they touch the life of another, and so forth and so on, then I have served my life's purpose. No matter how tired I get, no matter how frustrating things may make me, I keep in mind that this is SO much bigger than me. I have turned my pain into my purpose and that makes it all worth it!
