In Memory Kim Riddle: Sunnyview PS

Donation protected

On Dec 2, 2014, Knoxville experienced a tragedy. Two elementary school buses crashed, resulting in 3 deaths and many injuries. One of the three lives lost was Kimberly Riddle. She was a teaching assistant in the special education classroom at Sunnyview Primary School. http://www.knoxschools.org/sunnyviewps

In partnership with Jeffery Riddle and Kim Taylor (Kimberly's husband and sister-in-law)  The University of Tennessee's Student Council for Exceptional Children (SCEC*) wants to honor Kimberly's service to the Special Education children at Sunnyview PS.

Please help us show our appreciation to Kimberly's for her love for children with disabilities and for her service to them. We plan to give the proceeds of our campaign to her husband and children. They've lost her and her small salary as a TA so we want to help them defray some of the costs of living going forward.

*SCEC is the university students professional organization affiliated with The Council For Exceptional Children. http://www.cec.sped.org/   SCEC is UTK's  professional organization for students preparing to be special education teachers.  Learn about our UTK chapter here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/257284931548

SPED Teaching assistants do SO much for our children with disabilities and get paid so little. Kimberly loved her job and loved the children. Please consider donating to help with the immediate expenses her family must cover without her. Please pray for her family as they endure this upcoming holiday season.
