Needs of Keeper of the Wild

Donation protected
Keeper of the Wild Wildlife Rescue's mission is to rescue and rehabilitate orphaned and injured native wildlife rehabilitate them while keeping their instincts wild, and then releasing them back to the wild where they may fulfill their purposes in nature's plan to keep the earth a balanced and healthy place for all life to live. Over the past 14 years we have taken in thousands of rescued wildlife.   We have no employees and depend on volunteers and donations. We receive no state or federal funding.
Spring is our "baby season".  It brings in hundreds of orphans.  Most are from mothers hit by cars or killed due to human impact.   During this time our volunteers work around the clock feeding orphans.   We transport to and from our veterinarians, run rescues and handle hundreds of wildlife calls.
For the past 10 years we leased an old Forestry Building owned by the state in St. George, SC.  The building and property had not been in use for years.  We made repairs the best we could to make it useable.  As of August 2015 our lease will be up and we must be off that property.
We continue to rescue, rehabilitate and release  our wild babies in need, refusing to turn our backs on them even without a Center, but now the babies are being cared for in our volunteers' homes.
We never gave up that God had a plan for Keeper of the Wild.  Out of the blue, Mrs. Mary Julia Royal contacted Janet Kinser, our Director, that she has land she wishes to donate in Walterboro, SC as a permanent home site for Keeper of the Wild.
Now we need a new Center.  Buildings are expensive.  We continue to pray.  In steps a caring, but anonymous supporter who challenges Keeper of the Wild's supporters to raise $20,000 in the month of June.  She says if they do, she will add $10,000 to it toward the building of a new Center in Walterboro for Keeper of the Wild.
Now, at June 18, combining our PayPal, GoFundMe, and checks received, with 12 more days to go in June, supporters so far have donated $11,000!
We still need $9,000 more to meet the $20,000 challenge to qualify for the additional $10,000 super bonus toward our badly needed new Center building.  If you have not yet responded, please do.  If you have, THANK YOU!  Please share the news and encourage others to donate.
This is like a$10,000 bonus!!  Keeper of the Wild and the wildlife needs your help.   We believe we can reach this $20,000 challenge and get the $10,000 bonus to go with it!  If you coud hear the stories our volunteers are sharing about babies in cages in their homes everywhere, in living rooms and bathrooms and garages with fans all over, babies in cages in campers outside their homes with A/C running to it, personal refrigerators full of of chopped vegetables and animal food and having to squeeze room for family food.  They are all working hard to hang in there for the babies, feeding through the nights, dealing with healthy and not so healthy animals through the good and the bad.  We have dedicated, compassionate, and loving volunteers.    They want to see these babies back in the wild.  Please do what you can for them and our babies that need us.  Any amount will help and we desperately need it.   It will be appreciated more than you know....

Please think about it  a $10,000 bonus is just too easy to get for us to miss out on.  Please help us benefit by helping us make $9,000 more to make that $20,000 challenge!

Thank you !  We know we cannot do what we do without YOU!
