The separated lovers

One month before I left for basic training in the United States Air Force I made a friend on facebook. I never imagined what that friend would mean to me. I ended up being injured and confined to a medical hold for several months before being discharged. During this time this friend, whom I hardly knew, became my pen pal and helped survive each day. He became my best friend when I felt alone and hated by most of the people in my flights and squadrants. Even feeling a bit suicidal from time to time. Not even my family every really wrote to me. I never had someone make me feel like they really cared what happened to me. 


Once I got out of the military I decided to meet this man in person, not an easy task since I lived in the deserts of Arizona and he in heart of Belgium. We fell in love practically in first hug hello. After a wonderful month long visit and a tearful good bye I knew that I wanted to be with him.
He wanted to go back to school for a year and asked me to come and live with him. I was over joyed. I worked myself sick at two jobs to raise the money. I also got a job in Belgium with another friend I had know while I was there so that I could get a long stay visa. It was at the new restaurant he was opening . I spent everything I had, we got an apartment together and everything. Suddenly my employer and friend was in a motorcycle accident and disappeared completely a few days later leaving me without my visa and forcing me to return to America. It came as a horrible shock and heart ache.
Since then I've had to stay with my parents and no one has hired me since I live in a such a small town and it's off season. I don't what else to do, I've tried selling my things but no one wants them. Even just a few dollars help, what ever you can spare. Please... help me afford my plane ticket so that I can get back to the man I love. I miss him so much. Happy Holidays.
