House of Faust Fashion Design Fund

Hi! I am Katharine. I am a fashion designer of 3 yrs. I have sewn since the age of 5 but only recently decided to take the plunge and follow my passion in fashion design. After a successful showing at New Orleans Fashion Week 2013, placing as a finalist in their Top Designer competition, I created my brand House of Faust. House of Faust is custom (made to measure) clothing for women combining feminie silhouettes with fun and quirky prints and details.
     I have sucessfully shown in 2013 and 2015 New Orleans Fashion Weeks and have been asked to show in other regional fashion weeks. These are huge opportunities to show my talent and grow my brand. But as you may or may not know, participating in events like this are costly. From makeup and hair to participation fees, each show's fees vary widely but can range from $200- $3,000! Add in the  costs of fabric, notions, travel and time off work/hours sewing and it can really add up!
     Here's where I need your support! I have broken down the fees of shows I plan to participate in this year below.  Any amount you can give is greatly appreciated. And for you animal lovers, Pensacola Fashion Week is a completely charitable event with proceeds supporting The Hotel for Cats and Dogs Adoption and Rescue in Penscola. So you can know that not only are you helping me, you are making a huge difference for them by donating to my entry fee.

All proceeds from this event support a local adoption and rescue organization!

Travel & Expenses: $304.00
Fabric & Notions: $305.00 (this cost reflects the addition and alteration of a few pieces in my existing line)
Marketing Materials: $45.00

Mobile Fashion Week
September 20-26th, 2015
This fashion week supports Camp Rap-A-Hope, a local organization supporting kids with cancer.
Entry Fee: $350
Hair/Makeup: included in fee
Travel Expenses: $570
Fabric & Notions: $735-$1,000 (This cost is an estimation and reflects the creation of a new collection of 10 looks. Costs will vary based on fabric selection and product design)
Marketing Materials: $45.00
