Houlton Elem. Playground Campaign

Houlton Elementary School is a tight knit rural community of kids who are lucky enough to go to a school nestled in the farm fields of Western Wisconsin. We are the smallest of six elementary schools within the Hudson School District.  

Houlton families are not only committed to their community, but also to their child’s education; Over the past 10 years, Houlton has been consistently ranked in the top 5% of all Wisconsin elementary schools. These kids work hard, but since they're still kids we believe they deserve to play hard as well....

Over 32 years ago, Houlton Elementary purchased a used play structure from North Hudson Elementary. In that time, hundreds of children have spent their elementary school years playing and growing on this wooden playset. Unfortunately - for as much fun as it's given us - the time is now to replace and upgrade to a newer, more modern playground.

We're hoping you'll support us as we work to raise the required $50,000+ for a new playground – a massive undertaking for a small, rural school nestled between a dairy farm and a new highway.

The funds raised will help to cover cost of purchasing and installing a new playground and necessary landscaping which directly rewards the hard work Houlton kids put into their community, their school, and their education. A new play structure would also allow those with special needs an opportunity to play on equipment that is designed for them.

Houlton kids have proven that they'll make the most of what they've got — we just hope you'll help us give them what they deserve.
