A Sister's Hope.

My sister Janet was married to my brother-in-law for 24 years; of those 24 years, he's worked as a police officer for 22 years. Through their marriage they've had 3 amazing boys, the reason which he asked her not to work & be a stay at home mom so that she could be the best mom possible & she is, she is amazing!
Things took a turn and he decided he no longer wanted to be in the marriage, even though she was a wonderful loving faithful in every way as a wife, friend, mother ,home maker and supporting partner to him. Their oldest son is 23, however the 2 younger ones are in the middle of a custody battle. My sister, she's been a flawless, full time mother, however, not only did he decide to leave her but he also is making every effort to to take everything she has after he left which isn't much, including her health. She has been left with no money, every penny saved that they shared he took before she knew of his intentions basing his grounds and motive of feeling he is the one who earned it. She's had trouble finding a job due to the 20+ year working gap she spent taking care of their children and her husband, plus Janet suffers from an extreme condition called COPD which has taken a turn for the worst with constant visits to the hospital. This disease comes with an incredible amount of pain; emotional, physical and mental but it is often over simplified as just asthma, adding to her illnesses she also suffers from Fibromyalgia & arthritis and to make things worse she has a lump on her throat that has yet to be addressed because of the lack of funds. The last time she had a doctor visit, she couldn't get the medication she needed due to the cost of $800 . Medical bills are mounting. She is on the verge of losing their home to a foreclosure and her car if she can't make the payments, which of course she can't do with no occupation and the debilitating health. Janet is a trusting, captivating, kind and amazing woman that has always, a woman that has always put others before herself. Those who have had an opportunity to get to know her will tell you that she is sweet, caring and has a heart of gold. She is a true angel. She has always been an a fighter in a very adverse situations she has encountered but these battles she has yet to conquer. The support of for her friends and family have been the driving force behind her determination to recover her health her boys and her life. Somehow, the judge has already granted all rights of the kids to my ex brother-in-law, no alimony for her and she only has visitation rights for the boys she raised. She has been stripped of every other right for those children, Because of this divorce, we have depleted our finances due to this 5 year long divorce conflict. We are on a course and moving forward to appeal this decision with the court and we are running out of time. Time is of the essence to raise $15,000; and this is just to begin the appeal process. Our end goal is to raise $35,000 which should be enough to help with all of these things and hopefully there will be enough left over for her to pick herself up, begin to start paying off her medical bills to get the treatment she needs and get a fresh start. $5, $20, $100; anything will help. Your donation of any amount is greatly appreciated. If you are not in the position to help us financially, please keep us in your prayers and pass the link. Thank you in advance and I pray that God will bless everyone 10 fold..
