Help me hope

Help me to hope, please.

Five years ago, when I was diagnosed with aggresive breast cancer, I was stay-at-home mom of two girls, 4 and 6 years old.  I did not qualify for any employment or disability benefits. I did not have any life insurance. Getting work over these past 5 years has been quite impossible, with treatment schedules, surgeries, and coping with the side effects of conventional treatments.

My cancer was stage 2b at the beginning and I did everything to beat it with the conventional medicine: bilateral mastectomy, chemotherapy, radiation, Tamoxifen. Soon after first fight, I started to look for a job. It was very stressful for somebody with no hair, no breast, still terribly tired from the treatments and trying to take care of small children.

Not even two years since original diagnosis, cancer spread and I was stage 4. Terminal. Incurable, but treatable, if they are able to find the right treatment for you. Numerous appointments continued. I had additional biopsies, big and small surgeries, different drugs (arimidex, aromasin, femara, faslodex, zometa, x-geva, everolimus).

I do not want to die! My little girls are 9 and 12 now. If I die, there will be nobody, except my husband, to raise them. my family lives in Europe, thousands of miles away. Dealing with cancer is tough, but having the stress and fear of dying and leaving my children before they are able to take care of themselves is more than one mother can bear.

Another stress is caused by high medical expenses: some drugs, hospital stays, gas and parking going for the appointments (some of my friends do not want to take money for this help but it would be nice to be able pay for it by myself), healthier food, anti-cancer supplements, naturopath appointments, mastectomy prosthetics, bras, sleeves, wigs, hair loss treatments, babysitting when the girls were smaller. Soon I might need a permanent help with my house chores. htere were situations we needed help but were not able to get it on time. we have to respect our friends' lives.

The money raised will go towards the medical bills already incurred, some prescription drugs and supplements, extensive complementary treatments (my dream is to go to Germany) not covered by my husband's medical plan, organic food, physiotherapy, medical supplies. I am hoping to be able also to pay for a nannygas and parking going to doctors' appointments). there are also 5% fees taken off every donation on this side.
There is TRUST ACCOUNT at CIBC:
01020/010/53-38697 (expired on July 14, 2014).

I believe, it could help me live a good life until my girls at least grow up.

Thank you for reading my story. Please, share it. God bless!
