Hi everyone, the 2016 Holiday in the Park was such a successful event! It was our first time as an association to close the street down and it was so worth it. It was safe, it was fun, it was spacious and it was completely family friendly.
With the City of Burbank's financial deficit we are told that there will be no funding for Magnolia Park this year leaving us with over $35,000 in expenses for the 2017.
We are raising money to help continue our much loved community events and to make them safe, clean, and well maintained.
Here are some expenses we are raising funding for.
- $16,000 for the street closure during Holiday in the Park.
-$7,500 for trash pick up for Holiday in the Park and Ladies and Gents Night Out from July-December 2017.
-$2,100 for Portable restrooms during Ladies and Gents Night Out from April-October 2017.
