I love the Cape Ann League. I played in it (Newburyport) and coached in it (Manchester-Essex). About ten years ago I put a simple spreadsheet of Cape Ann League baseball scores and standings online to share with my fellow coaches. Thus was born Cape Ann League Scores (CALScores.com), which today is known as MAScores.com .

Thousands of people visit MAScores.com every day. The athletic directors of the Cape Ann League use the site for all of their online scheduling needs, directing all of their student-athletes, families, coaches, and fans to MAScores.com for current and accurate schedules, scores, and standings.

As MAScores.com continues to grow, it needs to become financially viable so that I can dedicate my time to maintaining, updating, and improving the site. As someone who has visited, and hopefully enjoyed, MAScores.com, I am sure you can appreciate not only the time, but the skill, effort, and dedication required to build and maintain such a site.

Features I hope to add in the coming months include text message alerts (in addition to the current e-mail alerts), the ability to synch schedules with an online calendar, improved responsiveness for mobile devices, and expanded game coverage. With the additional traffic I am also looking to updgrade my hosting servers.

For all of these reasons, please consider making a donation to this fundraising campaign so that I can refine and develop MAScores.com while it continues to grow. Ultimately I intend the site to be self-supporting through advertisements, but until that time comes I need your help.
