Urgent Trip: friend's funeral

Yesterday I woke up to the most devastating news ever, that my best friend has passed on. To make matters I am stuck in Costa Rica where I currently attend the United World College (UWC). I really need to go home as soon as tomorrow so I can get some closure. I have 24 hours to raise $3000 for my flight home and back. Please help me get the chance to bid my friend farewell. Please...help. He was such a sweet young man who despite his struggle over the past few years with chronic renal failure, remained full of life and ambition. He was filled with such positivity. I remember how involved he was when we raised funds for him to have his transplant. He was a genius and a funny man too. A talented artist and a loving man. Please, help me go bid this legend farewell. May your soul rest in peace Batho.
