Help me save my best friend.

My dog and very best friend on this earth, Beau, was hit by a car earlier today (March 4th 2015) and has sustained pretty serious injuries. He has a collapsed lung and a fractured upper left leg which has left him in a fairly critical condition. The veterinary clinic says the surgury will now cost around $15,000.00 Not including his after care needs and services and revisits. I have $4k in savings and have put all of this toward the cost of his care. I am in the process of listing nearly everything I own on Craigslist in order to pay the difference needed to return my dear friend back to me. I've never been one to ask for a hand out and belive that working hard pays off. That said, I would be utterly and entirely grateful for any help, support or positive thoughts sent our way during this very difficult time.
