!A Crowdfunding Initiative For Hope in Times of Conflict!

This is a student campaign focused on supporting Friedensdorf International (Peace Village). This organization is based in Oberhausen, Germany. 

Friedensdorf International is an organization whose sole purpose is to help innocent children from war stricken and crisis areas around the world. 

They help in 3 ways:

Provide medical assistance to sick and wounded children who cannot be helped in their native countries (who are then treated in Europe)

Improve local medical facilities in conflict areas

Educate children in social issues and conflict resolution so they can one day go back to their countries and be ambassadors. 

The educational work also helps local german children and teenagers, for they attend workshops concerning different topics and interact with the children from Peace Village. 

This is a non-profit charity that relies solely on donations and membership fees.

Peace Village's next aid mission will be for ill and wounded children from Angola, in May 2015. The country had a civil war in 2002 but there are still many children in need in the aftermath of this conflict. 

This project will collect funds that will go directly to Friedensdorf International. It will help sponsor new children in the care of the organization. Our goal is to fundraise the highest amount we can to help the most amount of children. But just one smile would be worth it all. We would like to raise €1.000 to sponsor one child in the process.

About Us:

We are group of students from Novancia Business School in Paris. At the moment we are enrolled in a class focused on the utilization of crowdfunding platforms for NGOs. We believe all the work that is done by Friedensdorf International is extremely important in the lives of children, especially now that the number of refugees and global conflicts are the highest in decades. We are dedicating our time to this wonderful cause.
