Witnessing a Miracle - Help Kelly Potter

Our friend Kelly Potter has recently suffered a potentially fatal ruptured brain aneurysm and was admitted to Memorial Hermann Neuroscience Intensive Care Center in Houston on Sunday, May 12, 2013.
On Monday, May 13th, an angioplasty was performed to stop the bleeding in Kelly's brain and he was subsequently put on observation until he was finally released on May 18th.
He has been doing well thus far and is incredibly lucky to be alive. Doctors say that 40% of people who suffer an aneurysm in their brain die within the first 24 hours; another 25% of people die within the first 6 months due to complications; and almost half of survivors are left with some sort of disability as a result (ex. neurological issues, personality change). It truly is a miracle he has pulled through this far seemingly unscathed.
The hospital has put Kelly on a strict work leave for at least 4-6 weeks where, afterward, he will return for follow-up tests. This has put our friend in a difficult position since he is without insurance coverage and cannot physically provide for himself and his family until he has fully healed.
Kelly has always been there for all of his friends... NOW is the time for us to step-up and help him in his time of need!

I am setting up an account at Woodforest Bank as well to hold any cash or check donations collected and will manage the distribution of the funds accordingly. Right now help is needed for food, utilities, and rent for his family until he can resume working. Medical bills will have to be dealt with later.
