An update from Zenith and his family:
Blessings friends & family.
It certainly has been a minute without an update: For us, things are are going as follows.. .
Zenith was officially moved to the "high risk" category, after lingering leukemia cells were found in his blood stream after his 'induction' month. Chemo was greatly intensified. We have four more weeks with this intensified chemo before his blood is tested again. We will then go from there, accordingly. We have good and not so good days. Days of nothing but throwing up... and days of hiking, bike riding, and playing basketball. Most of our days are spent building lego ships and battle stations.
Zenith has a home tutor, Casey, coming to our house three days a week until we feel like it is safe (germ wise) to send him back to school. His classmates have done an excellent job of sending home cards and such to let him know that they are thinking of him 😊
We thought "animal therapy" may be a good direction to go in, so we asked Zenith what kind of pet he wanted, and told him we would get whatever it was that he wanted... He chose a scorpion. So, we have a new addition to our family. Venom, the scorpion.
And, after days & weeks of car hunting, we finally decided on a car that will last us a long, long time. And, that we will be able to do as much camping in as we wish. We are wanting to have this spring, summer, and fall be spent outside! We went with a Subaru Forester.
So, yes, one day at a time. One moment at a time. It's crazy how this all settles in and becomes somewhat normal. Thank you all, again, for your thoughts, prayers, intentions, donations. We are able to do much of what we are doing because of all of you. Love & light you, and your families.

Hello everyone! I want to thank...
Hello everyone! I want to thank you again for all your support and donations. Brittany, Zenith's momma is preparing a note for you all regarding what has been happening lately that I will get posted ASAP. She and her family have been very busy, and have been focused on maintaining a normal rhythm to their new lifestyle.
In the mean time Tot restaurant is having a night honoring Zenith and his family, please join us!
Tot for Tot's will be honoring Zenith a seven year old local Ashland boy who has been diagnosed with Leukemia. On Tuesday March 5th, 10% of all proceeds will go to him and his family. What an awesome way to support a great small local business, and a beautiful local family at the same time. Spread the word, lets make this event busy! Blessings

For those of you who use...
Created by Sapphire Meeks on December 11, 2012
Brittany Greenfield and Kenyon Whyte's oldest son Zenith, a sweet and lively 7 year old, was diagnosed in the beginning of December 2012 with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). Due to this sudden development, Zenith, Brittany, Kenyon, and Jamani, their youngest son, have begun the 3 year journey as a family towards treating Zenith's condition. This specific form of Leukemia takes three years of out-patient care, which in part consists of chemotherapy, bone marrow draws, spinal taps, and a semi permanent IV line placed in his chest above his heart. Quite fortunately Zenith's family is covered by OHP and will have all of these aforementioned treatments covered.
What will not be covered are Zenith's additional adjunctive treatments ranging from specific dietary consultation and natural anti-cancer measures, to sessions with a therapist, who will be assisting him to come to grips with his very new way of life and its challenges.
Brittany, Kenyon, and little Jamani will be Zenith's primary companions on his road to health and will also be supported by the funds raised on Zenith's behalf. Their family will be needing:
* A reliable form of transportation and gas
* High quality food
* Supplemental income for lost time at work
* A monetary buffer to ease the intensity of the next three years
* Super hero action figures ;)
* And a good deal more
The support you provide to this family will be crucial in their managing the impact of this life changing event. Thank you so much for your care and support.
Words from Brittany Brooke - Zenith's Mother
Thank you all for your kindness & support, sweet words, thoughts & prayers. I am so humbled & truly blessed. This is my life & I will continue to walk with my head held high & my heart open ♥
Words from Kenyon Whyte - Zenith's Father
My motivation at this point is to reach for something higher than I already know. Be something greater that what I have been. Put in work for those who aren't promised tomorrow and begin each day as if it was my last. I'm healing right now... and soon will be spreading joy with you all. Giving Blessings and Gratitude to ALL of US who are connected... Love.
