Seniors: The forgotten class

The elderly have somehow become the forgotten class of people. Neglect at assisted living facilities, abuse from family members, and home attendants, over-medication, and the like, have taken a toll on our precious seniors slowly diminishing their will to live. Myself and a few of the committed, licensed cosmetologists, and team members of "GLAMMCITY" have gathered and decided to give hope, and put smiles on the faces of our seniors. We will be volunteering our hair, and makeup services and visiting several nursing homes, hospitals, and assisted living facilities throughout the Miami/Fort Lauderdale, and surrounding South Florida areas to give the elders a little "Glamm." One would be surprised at how something as small as applying a little lipstick on Grandma, dusting the cheeks with a little blush or "Rouge" as the elders call it, :) polishing the nails, a slight trim, a haircut for Grandpa, or a curl on Auntie Mae's hair can change the lives of our precious seniors by enhancing their image, which will boost their self esteem.
Please take the time to help us with the resources to stock up on the supplies, equipment, and inventory we need to make this dream become a realty. Our goal is to not only give back, and take the time to sincerely, patiently, and professionally provide these beauty services to our seniors, but to also give them special gift packages filled with beauty essentials, and other goodies that will help them keep the "Glamm" alive until our next visit. The elders are the reason we are all here today, and as they age they simply need to feel as if someone really cares, and that they have not been forgotten. Your donation, no matter how big or small will help us give our seniors back their dignity, and sense of pride. Help us to help our seniors get back to "Glamm." :)
