*** We have officially cut the ribbon on our facility as we begin servicing our well deserving Vets through programs and services offered through our network! We have not officially opened doors for housing, yet, and we're just about done with the sprinkler system install! We've begun to organize different phases taking place at Victory Village to prepare for future renovations to our Rehabilitation Center, Small Engine and Repair Center, along with the Veteran Female Facility, all located at Victory Village in Middletown!

Our goal behind this fundraiser is to open our much needed Veterans Outreach Center in the beautiful First State of Delaware! We have been at the mercy of State regulations to install a sprinkler system in order to open. Because we are on well and septic our costs will involve holding tanks, a generator and some underground plumbing. Once we install the sprinkler system we are then able to begin housing and offering the necessary services our Veterans deserve.

The planned 40 bed individualized care facility will house eligible veterans and work hand-in-hand with local social service programs and VA agencies that serve this target population.
In many cases, Veterans are not aware of programs and financial assistance available to them. Our dynamic team will work continually to mobilize these resources to secure benefits to Veterans and their families.
Victory Village is a home-like environment enhanced by its bucolic setting. We offer personal and professional services designed to help all Veterans, particularly homeless Veterans, make the transition to civilian life.
The goal of the program is not only to house 24 male, 8 female and 8 emergency shelter veterans, but to create a resource center that will both direct and support veterans as they develop personal confidence and professional skills enabling them to become productive in the work place. Also, Victory Village will assist the Veterans in applying and receiving the benefits they have earned.
We will also provide education for our Veterans unlike any other centers in Delaware. We have put together partnerships with professional services and organizations who will educate, train and hire Veterans. We even have staff who specialize in PTSD for those Veterans who require more specialized assistance.
After completion of the sprinkler system, our partnerships along with the leadership staaff will be poised to provide:
- Homeless Veterans Outreach
- Reintegration with VA Medical Center
- Housing First plus Supportive Services
- Substance Abuse/Mental Health Outpatient
- Treatment/Assessment/Counseling
- Emergency Housing
- Permanent Housing plus Supportive Services
- Case Management
- Information/Resources and Referrals
- Job Training and Education
- Much more
We are positioned to be the first Veterans Center of its kind in Delaware which will enable us to implement this model in other states to better serve our Veterans. Since we are a tax exempt non-profit we are looking to make this available in as many states as we are able be in.
